International Journal of Chemistry [IJC] is a peer-reviewed, hybrid open access journal devoted to advancing fundamental understanding, innovation, and sustainable application across the chemical sciences.

Aims & Scope
IJC publishes original research articles, systematic reviews, technical notes, experimental and theoretical investigations, short communications, and case studies that offer significant contributions to chemical knowledge and practice, including but not limited to:
Organic Chemistry and Synthetic Methodology, Inorganic and Organometallic Chemistry, Physical and Theoretical Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry and Separation Science, Environmental and Green Chemistry, Materials Chemistry and Nanochemistry, Biochemistry and Medicinal Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry and Catalysis, Electrochemistry and Surface Science, and Applied and Industrial Chemistry.
Our objective is to encourage interdisciplinary dialogue and promote innovative approaches that enhance analytical precision, synthetic efficiency, and sustainable chemical systems.
Publication Model: Hybrid Open Access [Primarily Open Access]
Authors publishing in IJC may select one of two publishing routes upon submission, however the journal now primarily accepts and publishes open access articles to maximize global visibility, accessibility, and research impact.
1. Open Access: The article is made immediately and permanently accessible online to all readers upon publication under the Creative Commons Attribution License [CC BY 4.0]. The publication charge for this journal is 500 USD. Authors who are not able to pay this amount may apply for a partial discount. Please note that we do not offer free publications.
2. Subscription Access: The article is published at no charge to the author and is accessible to subscribers and licensed institutions through our website. Authors are permitted to share their work in line with our self-archiving policy. This route is available on a limited basis.
APC Discount Policy
We are committed to supporting inclusive and equitable scholarly publishing. Authors with constrained research funding may apply for a partial reduction of the Article Processing Charge based on World Bank country income classification, institutional funding status, or verifiable financial need. Please note: We do not provide full waivers. A minimum administrative charge applies to all open access articles to support editorial and production operations.
Editorial Standards
All manuscripts submitted to IJC are subjected to a rigorous double-blind peer review process involving at least two independent subject-matter experts. Each submission is evaluated for originality using iThenticate / Crossref Similarity Check. The journal strictly follows the COPE Core Practices to ensure ethical standards, editorial independence, and integrity at every stage of the publication process.
